More About EASY e-Stim Programs for Neuromodulation and Home USE devices

Is e-stim safe for home use?
Yes. When indicated, electrical stimulation is used with individualized parameters, clear safety guidelines, and structured instruction for caregiver use at home under clinical supervision.

How is training provided for the e-stim unit?
Training is provided step-by-step during in-clinic or telehealth sessions. This includes electrode placement, device setup, and how to pair stimulation with specific movement activities. Caregivers practice during sessions before implementing at home.

What does neuromodulation look like in a home program?
Neuromodulation using e-stim is integrated with functional movement activities such as sitting, standing, transitions, and play to support nervous system activation during meaningful tasks.

Can neuromodulation be taught through telehealth sessions?
Yes. Telehealth sessions are used to guide electrode placement, positioning, and activity selection in real time. Visual feedback and caregiver input are used to adjust the program as needed.

How often is e-stim used in the home program?
Frequency is individualized based on clinical goals, tolerance, and how it is integrated with movement-based therapy.

What happens if a child does not tolerate e-stim well?
