Dr. Kristin Girshin is a physical therapist with board certification in clinical pediatric specialty. Completing her undergraduate studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, she went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy at SUNY Upstate Medical in Syracuse, NY.
Dr. Kristin has extensive experience in pediatric and neuro treatments. As an adjunct professor she has taught undergraduate and graduate students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Ithaca College and has assisted in continuing education coursework on the use of non-invasive peripheral electrical. Kristin is deeply committed to providing best practices in physical therapy care. and holds a number of certifications in specialized techniques.

Dr. Kristin specializes in motor learning and electrical physiological treatments. She has published articles on the topic of spinal neuromodulation. With over a decade of experience working with kids, families, and teams in schools, daycares, homes, hospitals, and out-patient clinics, Kristin draws on her vast experience and wealth of knowledge to create individualized and systematic treatment programs for her clients.

Dr. Kristin has provided her clinical expertise as a strategic advisor and consultant to SpineX, a leading international bio-tech company seeking the first FDA approved device for spinal stimulation for children with cerebral palsy.

Dr. Kristin loves boogie boarding and surfing at the beach with her three kids, hiking in nature, and singing in the car.

She understands that navigating therapy services can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she is committed to making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
